Finca San Luis is a coffee plantation located on the beautiful Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range. The farm’s average elevation of 1,300 meters above sea level provides the perfect growing conditions for 100% Bourbon coffee. San Luis spans over 20 manzanas or 14 hectares of land, with an annual production of 400 bags, each weighing 69 Kg for export.
At the top of the mountain, there is a lush canopy forest, with an extinct crater of an ancient volcano that has become a lagoon, where wild frogs thrive, hence the mountain’s name, Las Ranas. The farm’s location provides breathtaking views of the surrounding area, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee.
The high elevation and fertile soil of San Luis ensure that the coffee beans produced have a distinct flavor profile, with a delicate balance of sweetness, acidity, and body. The plantation follows sustainable farming practices, with a focus on quality control and producing only the best coffee.
San Luis is not just a coffee plantation, it’s also a way of life. The farm is a source of employment for the local community, and the staff is passionate about their work. Visitors are welcome to tour the plantation and experience the coffee-making process firsthand, from harvesting to roasting. Come and discover the magic of San Luis, where coffee meets adventure.
